SurveyMonkey
I explored SurveyMonkey. This website allows anyone to create and post surveys anywhere on the web for free. There were many different options for everything. When you first create a survey you get to create a (color) theme for that survey. Then at each new question you can choose your question type. Some of the options included: single text box, multiple text boxes, multiple choice, rating scale, and a comment and essay box; along with many more. There is also an option to add pictures to the survey question. Once you finish each question, you have an opportunity to check the spelling. Then when you get all the questions done, you are able to rearrange them in the order that you think is best. You are also to create a survey in any language.
Once you have finished the survey you are able to do many things with it. You are able to post it to facebook or twitter. You are also about to collect responses by creating a link to send in personal e-mails. SurveyMonkey will even analyze your results for you and then you are able to take those results and share them with the survey takers.
This would be extremely useful to use with other colleagues to find out how other teachers feel about certain things. This would also be useful to use in an everyday classroom. This could even be useful in creating tests. If you buy the updated version you are able to print out the survey.
This website was very easy to figure out. I just went through the process of creating my own survey to figure out how to use SurveyMonkey. Once I created my user name and password, the cite instantly took me where I needed to be to be able to start creating my survey. Everything on this site was very self explanatory. This may not be useful to me in the future, because I don't think I am going to be willing to pay for the upgrade version to be able to print.

I explored scrapblog. Scrapblog allows you to make scrapbooks, calenders, book, card, and slidshow. This website allows you to upload pictures to input into your creation. This would be a wonderful tool to get students interested in technology.
I enjoyed exploring this website. I spend about an hour playing around with the different features. There are stickers, and shapes that you can put on the background. There are so many different choices; it is easy to make it very personal.
I learned how to use this website by just playing around with all the features. It was very easy to figure out what the options were. I am not good with the internet at all and I did not get confused once. I am definitlly going to keep this website in mind.
The only tips that I have about scrapblog is to have fun with it and allow enough time to fully get to know the site.

My experience creating this blog.
I am not very computer savoy, so I had plenty of difficulty creating this blog. I had trouble in just learning how to navigate this Blogger website. However, after I got through that complication, it was easy enough to find how to add a picture and a bio about myself. Then when it can time to add a gadget, I had problems again. I have a Droid phone and have a few gadgets on it, so I have heard of them before. However, it is a completely different experience trying to find them on the Internet. After a little of help from a friend I found a neat clock gadget that I put on my blog site.
My advice to others creating a blog for the first time would be to just have patience, and learn how to navigate the website. Have fun with the process. After I got over my beginning frustrations, it was quite pleasant to finish creating my masterpiece. It is nice to know that in the future, when I am a professional teacher, I will be able to create a personal blog to record my experiences.
